Another year of Ageing Disgracefully

AGEING Disgracefully, the fun and information packed event for seniors is back this month.

Guest speakers will include gardener, horticulturist and storyteller Sabrina Hahn, motivational speaker Dr Peter Dingle and exercise physiologist and author of If only I’d known I’d live this long, David Beard.

The Ageing Disgracefully event is free, but need to book to secure your spot.

You can make a booking through the city’s website or by calling the Altone Park Leisure Centre on 9207 8555.

Lunch can be bought at the end of the seminar, eat in or takeaway. The kiosk will have a range of meals available.

Free parking and disabled access will also be available on the day.

The seminar will take place on Wednesday, September 20 at Altone Park Leisure Centre in Beechboro from 8.30am to 1pm.

Anita Mcinnes received a highly commended in the 2009 WA Media Awards suburban section for her reporting. Two of her sons were born at Swan District Hospital and for many years she was a partner in a small business, which operated in the Gingin-Muchea-Bullsbrook area.
