HYPERFEST, Perth’s only drug, smoke and alcohol-free music festival will be held at Midland Oval on February 24.
The City of Swan said 3500 people visited Midland Oval to check out more than 66 artists across four live stages and a huge silent disco.
Last year’s line-up included Amy Shark, Allday, Hands Like Houses, Asta, Ocean Grove, Rag n’ Bone and many more.
The line-up for the 2018 event is due to be announced sometime this month.
Western Australian bands and DJs are encouraged to sign up to apply for their spot on the 2018 HyperFest line-up before November 5 at www.hyperfest.com.au
The 2018 event is set to feature two live main stages, an additional chill-out stage, gourmet food vans, water-based activities such as water slides and a dunk tank, a climbing wall and other attractions, games and merchandise.
There will also be a tent for signing to give fans the chance to meet their favourite artists.
Midland Guildford ward councillor Mark Elliott said it was exciting to see the level of talent on show each year.
“In 2017, more than 150 local bands and 40 DJs from all over Australia applied to get involved in HyperFest,” he said.
“The Hyper volunteers do a great job ensuring HyperFest is a success, and the festival just keeps getting bigger and better each year.”
