THE Kalamunda and Districts Netball Association sent 11 teams to the Smarter than Smoking Association Championships at the Wembley Sports Park.
Out of those 11 teams the U12 division four, U12 division three, U13 division four and U15 division five were all winners.
Netball WA chief executive officer Simon Taylor said the championships continued to play an integral role in the growth and development of the game.
“The championships showcase the very best of our game, including the sense of friendship, fair play and community to which netball is intrinsically linked,” he said.
The netball tournament attracted almost 270 teams from close to 40 associations across the state, with more than 13,000 people attending.
There were a series of on court highlights including an open division one championship win for Northside Nissan Wanneroo Districts, more than a third of division winners hailing from country associations, a record nine international teams from Singapore and Botswana, and the Fremantle Jaffas winning the no limits division for athletes with an intellectual disability for a third consecutive year.
