Pearce PFAS investigation info sessions

THE Department of Defence is hosting information sessions on its PFAS investigation and management program on Friday, February 23 and Saturday, February 24 in Bullsbrook.

The department said the sessions would provide an opportunity for residents to find out more information in an informal setting about the environmental investigation into per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) at Pearce air base and nearby areas.

Representatives from the project team will be available at the shopfronts to answer questions relating to the investigations and to provide updates on the detailed site investigation and human health and ecological risk assessment.

There will be aerial maps of the investigation work completed to date and other collateral available.

The Friday session will be from noon until 6pm in the car park area close to Brooke Discount Hardware, Great Northern Hwy, Bullsbrook.

The Saturday session will be held at West Bullsbrook Hall, 22 Turner Rd, West Bullsbrook from 9am to 1.30pm.
