Students work on display

THE Governor Stirling Senior High School Art Exhibition is open to the public during school hours for the rest of Term 3 and all of Term 4.

This year’s annual art exhibition at the school showcases the best work from its specialist artsmedia, design photography, media and visual arts students from Year 7-12.

The school held an opening night on Thursday, September 8 for parents and community members to enjoy the exhibition celebrating the talents of its creative art students.

Year 11 student Cailee Barnes and Year 9 student Lucas Guretti are two of the students whose work is in the exhibition.

In August four Governor Stirling Senior High School artsmedia and photography students had their work appear in the Young Originals Exhibition at Edith Cowan University.

The Young Originals is a state-wide exhibition showcasing the best work of students from Year 7-8 across Western Australian public schools.

Their works were selected from nearly 200 other entries.
