Temporary traffic signals at Neaves Rd

AS part of building the NorthLink WA dual carriageway between Ellenbrook and Muchea, temporary traffic signals will be installed on Neaves Rd, at Davidson Rd, between West Rd and Railway Pde.

MAIN Roads WA said the change would improve safety for motorists by taking trucks off the road and allowing them to cross Neaves Rd at Davidson Rd instead of turning off Neaves Rd.

Temporary signals will be operational daily between 7am to 5am until November.

On completion, NorthLink WA will provide a vital transport link to commercial and industrial areas north of Perth, as well as improved safety, reduced congestion and faster travel times for road users.

CPB Contractors are constructing the northern section of NorthLink WA – Ellenbrook to Muchea.

The northern section will include a dual carriageway between Maralla Rd and Muchea, interchanges at Stock Rd, Neaves Rd and Brand Hwy, a deviation at Brand Hwy and flyovers at Muchea South Rd, railways and Ellenbrook.

The initial scope of works for the northern section only included a single carriageway and at-grade intersections at Stock Rd, Neaves Rd and Muchea.
