Ten players off to National AFL championships

The Midland and Hills district continues to be a breeding ground for football talent, with 10 students selected to represent WA in the School Sport Australia AFL 15s Championships.

A boys and a girls team will fly to Adelaide for the championships, which run from July 21 to 29.

For the girls’ team, La Salle College’s Janeva Alec, Rahni Andrews and Tara Stribley, Swan View Senior High School’s Charlie Beazley, Swan Christian College’s Molly Healy and Darling Range Sports College’s Emma Nanut will represent WA.

For the boys’ team, Darling Range Sports College’s Jorge Cairns, Governor Stirling Senior High School’s Jordan Cooper, Mazenod College’s Regan Hill and Northam Senior High School’s Bailey O’Driscoll will represent WA.
