Wedding bells at the Echo

DARLINGTON offered the perfect hills backdrop for the wedding of Liam Ducey and Roselyn Hamilton on March 10.

Love first blossomed for Echo News senior journalist and his bride Roselyn during their first date to Sculptures by the Sea, Cottesloe, in 2014.

Two years later, Liam popped the question at Roselyn’s family home in Scotland on Christmas Day.

Roselyn’s mother Tricia Hamilton, Liam’s parents Helen and Snow Ducey and 70 guests shared in their special ceremony and reception at Darlington Estate.

Maid of Honor Susan Di Fenza, Alyson Robertson and Sarah Sutton accompanied the bride with best man David Erceg-Hurn, Liam Croy and Sam Bevan completing the bridal party.

The newly married Mr and Mrs Ducey were joined by a small group of family and friends on a honeymoon to Dunsborough and Rottnest Island where they visited wineries and relaxed along WA’s coast.

Liam and Roselyn are eagerly expecting the arrival of their first child in the coming weeks.
