HIGH Wycombe model Kyanna Van Domselaar is going to strut her stuff on the catwalk at the inaugural Kalgoorlie Fashion Week, which runs from August 6-12.
Ms Van Domselaar, who has a partnership with Model Camp Australia, is fascinated with dance and has been passionate about the arts since she was a little girl.
Yasmin Walter from Model Camp Australia said Ms Van Domselaar was an experienced model.
Hunter-Rose, a luxury sleepwear label will step onto the runway for the first time at Kalgoorlie.
Created by Caversham residents Ivy Arellano and Loan Tran, Hunter-Rose aims to provide women with a fashionable alternative for sleepwear.
Ms Loan said as avid sleep and sleepwear lovers they wanted to create a brand that gave women a fashionable alternative for no other reason than to feel beautiful.
Ms Arellano said not all pyjamas had to be baggy and unattractive but they could still be comfortable.
Mrs Walter of Dayton said Model Camp Australia, which started as a promotional modelling agency in Perth has now developed into a national movement as a talent agency with an attached modelling academy, has been operating since 2007.
“Model Camp Australia has been lucky enough to be invited to schools and corporate functions to hold workshops to chat about their core values,’’ she said.
“The team’s touring has taken them around Australia from Kalgoorlie to Christmas Island – and that’s how the idea to create Kalgoorlie Fashion Week ensued.
Model Camp Australia has teamed up with Eshe Christie from Country Image Development.
