Gridiron champs host open day

WEST Bowl Champions the Swan City Titans will host an open day next Sunday.

In the past four years, the gridiron club has gone from strength to strength, taking out the championship title in 2018 and 2020.

Club president Layke Rossiello said membership and the club’s popularity had continued to grow despite the pandemic.

“We owe our on field success to our coaching staffs ability to develop simple game plans which play to our teams strengths and our opponents weaknesses,” he said.

“Anyone can join the Titans senior men’s and women’s teams, no experience is required as we teach everything a player needs to be successful.”

The club is currently recruiting to enter an under 19’s team this upcoming season.

The open day starts at 4pm, July 4, at Farrall Oval, Jecks Place, Stratton.
