Midland carols this Sunday

THE Midland Community Carols is back for its third year at the brand new Weeip Park on Midland Oval.

Organisers said while the space may be new, the spirit of the occasion would remain with the same festive cheer.

“The magic of this event we feel reflects the old, and hopefully new, Midland community,” organiser Francesca Irwin said.

“We come from different fields and backgrounds but passionately want our Midland community to survive and thrive through all the difficulties it experiences.

“Thanks to our great sponsors, St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals, the City of Swan and Woolworths Centrepoint, the evening is totally free with a free sausage sizzle, watermelons galore, refreshments and gifts for the children.”

Social distancing will be encouraged and hand sanitiser provided.

The carols are on this Sunday, December 20 from 5.30 to 8pm.
