Police request info on fatal Bellevue crash

A MAN who was knocked down by a Tesla in Bellevue last Friday whilst riding an electric bike has died in hospital five days after initially getting up and riding away from the accident.

On May 13, at about 3.45pm, a white Tesla model X and a motorised electric bicycle collided at the intersection of Norman Street and the Great Eastern Highway.

Police say the 34-year-old man rode away from the crash before seeking medical treatment at Midland Hospital four days later.

He was later transferred to Royal Perth Hospital in a critical condition and died yesterday.

Police are now appealing for witnesses of the crash to come forward by calling Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
