MAJOR upgrades have transformed Ballajura Community College’s sports hall into a modernised facility fit for students’ needs.
New specialised flooring and a roofing upgrade were part of the $400,000 refurbishment officially opened by MLA Rita Saffioti.
“The upgrades have provided students at Ballajura Community College with a state-of-the art space for them to enjoy for years to come,” she said.
“I am excited to have delivered on another school project for the Ballajura community which other local schools and community groups in the area will also benefit from.”
Ballajura Community College opened in 1995 and the new upgrades have provided students with access to a high-performance indoor sports facility on school grounds.
The investment in refurbishing the sports hall was part of the McGowan Government’s $5.5 billion WA Recovery Plan.
