The Hills are alive with the sound of carols

By Rebecca Peppiatt

CONTINUING their annual tradition of spreading Christmas cheer throughout the Shire, Mundaring Church of Christ will yet again host Carols in the Hills on December 17.

Similar to previous events, the Church will run a full program of traditional carols for everyone to sing along to, as well as food vans and gift bags for all spectators.

“We want to be able to give the community an opportunity to celebrate and relax,” Mundaring Church of Christ’s lead pastor Glen Saw said.

“The world has been very tense with everything that has been going on so for us, it’s an opportunity to help people relax and enjoy the atmosphere and their family at this special time.”

Food stalls will open at 5.30pm and the program kicks off at 7pm at Sculpture Park.

The family focussed event is a popular highlight on the calendar at this time of year for locals and everyone is encouraged to bring a rug or a chair.
