Titans beat the Ducks in men’s game

Due to the field lighting issues at Farrall Oval, the Swan Titans home round was moved to Edinburgh Oval at Curtin University in Bentley last Saturday.

The Titan’s men faced the Vincent City Ducks on Friday night in what could be described as a lopsided contest.

“I was very happy with the performance of the entire team in all facets of the game,” head coach Layke Rossiello said, who celebrated his 150th senior club game.

“In the second half our rookie, second and third string players showed they are able to execute the skills and knowledge they have developed in practice.”

On Saturday night the Titans women faced last year’s West Bowl champions the Rockingham Vipers.

The Vipers continued their winning form and quickly got out to a 22-0 lead by half time but the score remain unchanged at the final siren.

This Saturday the Titans are on the road to face the Perth Broncos at Lightning Park, Noranda that are coming off a 28-0 win on the Westside Steelers and dominant 52-0 win over the Hills Valkyries.
