ELLENBROOK Arts will be hosting three exhibitions on February 20, featuring collective and solo exhibitions at their three distinct galleries.
Gallery one will be hosting artist Tron Tonneson’s recent works which draw on his training and experience across a range of media.
According to organisers, the art demonstrates intuition and discipline, blending abstraction with lived experience.
It also invites viewers to reflect and peel back the layers of meaning under the surface, gesture and structure.
Gallery two will be an exhibition called A Quiet Place by Harry Lee and is a curated solo exhibition celebrating the vibrant colour, natural beauty and living character of West Australian land and sea.
The pieces invite viewers into moments of calm where landscapes and seascapes come alive through expressive brushstrokes.
The third gallery is a collective exhibition of insect-inspired art called Small Wonders.
This collective exhibition will showcase artists exploring the beauty, complexity and quiet power of insects through a range of media.
There will be paintings, sculptures, photographs and other forms aiming to reveal the delicate details and astonish with bold interpretations.
It’s an invitation to slow down, look closer and rediscover the extraordinary in the insect life.
Small Wonders will be a non-competitive community art exhibition encouraging authentic creative expression and inclusion by removing financial and prize-driven barriers.
Ellenbrook Arts received more than 80 entries for their Small Wonders exhibition which they said highlighted how open, theme-led spaces foster participation, connection, and a richer, more representative creative community.
