
MIDLAND detectives have charged a juvenile in relation to a serious incident that occurred in Stratton on Saturday, February 28.
It will be alleged about midnight, the accused male drove a grey Holden Commodore sedan to a home on Tatlock Way.
A physical altercation occurred in the driveway, during which the accused allegedly accelerated towards the victim, pushing him into the wall of a house before driving away from the scene.
Emergency services, including St John WA, attended and located a 17-year-old male victim with life threatening injuries.
He was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.
The alleged driver later attended Midland Police Station, where he was arrested and taken into custody.

He has been remanded in custody and appeared before the Perth Children’s Court on Wednesday, March 4 where he was again remanded in custody to appear before the Perth Children’s Court on Wednesday, April 15.
CHILD Abuse Squad detectives are seeking public assistance for information as they investigate the suspicious approach of a child in Koondoola on Saturday, February 28.
About 5.10pm, the victim was playing basketball at Butterworth Reserve on Butterworth Avenue, in the company of an unknown male who tried to lead him away from the area.
The victim attempted to seek assistance from a group of people nearby.
The victim walked towards Waddington Crescent where he was followed a short distance through a laneway onto Gabell Way, before he managed to run away.
The man is described as approximately 18-years-old, of slim build with dark skin and short, curly black hair.
He was wearing a white T-shirt, shorts and black sneakers, with ear buds in his ears.
Investigators are seeking anyone with mobile phone, CCTV or dash cam footage from the area between 4.30pm and 5.30pm to upload their vision via this community portal.
