
MIDLAND Detectives have charged a 22-year-old man in relation to an incident that occurred in Ellenbrook on Thursday, March 26.
About 7pm, police will allege an altercation occurred involving several individuals on Main Street in Ellenbrook, outside a shopping centre.
During the altercation, it will be alleged the accused stabbed the 31-year-old male victim.
Emergency services attended the scene, and the victim was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital by St John WA for treatment of serious injuries sustained.
The 22-year-old man from Aveley was arrested and charged with one count of ‘Grievous Bodily Harm’.
He is due to appear before the Midland Magistrates Court on Tuesday, April 21.
MIDLAND detectives are continuing to appeal for public assistance as they investigate an armed robbery and aggravated burglary incident which occurred in Ballajura on Thursday, March 26.
About 2.20pm, police received a report that two unknown males had forced entry into a residence on Luton Close. Once inside, the males attempted to steal personal belongings.
During the incident, the 19-year-old female occupant was punched in the face, and the 19-year-old male occupant was threatened with what appeared to be a machete.
The males then fled the property in the vehicle pictured - a blue Ford Falcon sedan bearing no registration plates.
The female sustained facial injuries and attended hospital to receive medical treatment. Both males are described as being aged in their 20s and were wearing yellow hi-vis clothing.
One male was of slim build, had tattoos on his neck and was bald, and the second male was of solid build with brown hair.

WUNDOWIE officers from the major crash investigation section are investigating a serious crash that occurred in Wundowie on Monday, March 23.
About 6.15am, a blue Toyota Camry sedan travelling north and a white Kia Cerato hatchback travelling south on Great Eastern Highway in Wundowie were involved in a collision.
The 46-year-old female driver of the Kia received serious injuries and was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.
The 21-year-old female driver of the Toyota received serious injuries and was conveyed by St John WA to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.
Major crash investigators are conducting an examination of the scene and are appealing for any witnesses to contact Crime Stoppers or on 1800 333 000.
