Major crashes across the City of Swan are being investigated with police calling for assistance from the public.

Swan View fatal crash investigation

MAJOR crash investigation officers are seeking the public’s assistance following a fatal crash in Swan View on Monday, April 20.

About 6.40pm, a male rider of an e-bike was involved in a collision with a public bus at the intersection of Marlboro Road and Morrison Road.

The rider, a 50-year-old man, sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.

Major crash investigators urge anyone who witnessed the crash, or has information that may assist the investigation, to contact Crime Stoppers online or by calling 1800 333 000.

Anyone with CCTV, dash-cam or mobile phone vision relating to the crash is urged to upload the footage directly to investigators via the following link.

Viveash serious crash investigation

OFFICERS from the major crash investigation section are investigating a crash that occurred in Viveash on Friday, April 17.

About 2.25pm, a silver Ford Territory was travelling in an easterly direction on Muriel Street, near Cranwood Crescent, when it left the road and collided with a tree.

A four-year-old female child and a three-year-old female child were conveyed to Perth Children’s Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries sustained.

The 24-year-old male driver of the vehicle and the 24-year-old female passenger were conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment of serious injuries received.

Investigators believe the Ford Territory and its occupants were at Reg Bond Reserve on Bernley Drive, Viveash, two hours prior to the crash and are urging anyone who saw the vehicle or occupants in the area during that time to come forward.

Investigators also wish to speak to the driver of a silver Mitsubishi Triton bearing Victorian license plates, which was travelling along Muriel Street around the time of the crash, as the driver may have information that will assist with inquiries.
