THE Kalamunda Garden Festival will return to Stirk Park next weekend for its winter edition, featuring a lineup of horticultural speakers and more than 130 specialised stalls.

The single-day event is scheduled for Sunday, June 7 and will run from 10am to 3pm.

This year’s speaker panel will feature a number of industry experts including Connie Cao, Craig Castree, Tammy Huynh and Chloe Thomson.

Specialists from the Gardeners’ Circle will also staff a designated plant doctor station to provide diagnostic consultation for plant health issues.

Organisers have requested that attendees bring only photographic evidence of their plants rather than live samples to prevent the potential spread of pests or diseases.

A plant crèche will operate along Headingly Road inside the festival boundary, allowing attendees to check in and store their purchases while navigating the grounds.

Confirmed commercial stalls for the event include specialised plant nurseries and garden tool suppliers, alongside various mobile food trucks.

A complimentary shuttle service will be available to transport attendees between the festival grounds and the City of Kalamunda’s administration carpark, at 2 Railway Road, Kalamunda.

Domestic dogs are strictly prohibited within both the park and the official event boundary.

Live musical entertainment will be split into two sessions, beginning with a performance by Scarlet’s Way from 10am to 12pm.

The Murphy Brothers will subsequently perform on the main stage from 12.15pm until the event concludes at 3pm.

Complimentary face painting and organised children’s activities will also be available on-site throughout the day.

Cost is only $10 for adults while children and companion card holders are free.

Tickets and further information are available online.
