NATE Forwood, an 11-year-old motocross rider from Morangup in the Perth Hills, is about to take on his fifth Australian Junior Motocross National Championship event in September.
As he prepares to compete against the best riders in the country he is also looking to partner with local businesses for sponsorship opportunities to help cover travel, equipment, and race expenses.
The event will take place at Goulburn Valley Motocross Club in Victoria in late September where he will be competing in two classes: the 65cc (10-12) and 85cc (9-12).
His national results speak for themselves – a steady climb built on consistency and dominance.
He secured third place in 2023 in Darwin, stepped up to 1st in 2024 in Bunbury, and reaffirmed his position at the top with another victory in 2025 in Adelaide.
Adding to that momentum, his recent form has been just as impressive, claiming 1st in the 65cc class and 3rd in the 85cc class at the Sunshine State Series championships in Queensland.
His family has focused on training and racing opportunities in Queensland in recent years, allowing him to gain experience on a wider range of technical motocross tracks and consistently deep rider fields – exposure that is not as readily available within Western Australia.
Yet even with that, he remains committed to racing at WA events to maintain local competition and continue building his presence across both states, as well as supporting the state’s racing community. He is a dedicated young local athlete balancing home schooling, intense training, and high-speed competition believing in himself and where this can take him in the future.
In exchange for their support, Nate is offering local businesses premium marketing space, including prominent logo placement on his race jersey and full business details displayed directly on the race bike. Businesses will also be promoted on his Instagram page.
Any businesses interested in sponsoring Nate can contact his mother Tamara on 0414 497 671 or email tamforwood@gmail.com
