Echo News has been an independent voice to the community in the eastern metropolitan area since August 5, 1985. Our Echo News team are a small group of devoted individuals who work hard to give the local community an easy to read, yet intelligent mix of local community stories.

We are committed supporters of all community organisations, clubs, groups and associations and enjoy offering not-for-profit entities space on our free noticeboard section.

From July 2022 letterbox delivery ceased due to rising costs.

We still offer the newspaper for free in 73 newspaper dispensers located throughout City of Swan, City of Kalamunda & Shire of Mundaring and Town of Bassendean, plus a free digital version which is easy accessible online.

We also offer a free subscription to get the latest emailed version to your inbox.

We wanted a cleaner and less complicated look so we could provide the paper online. Great for mobiles and desktop and to give the same look and feel from print to digtial with a bit extra.

We just swapped the letterbox for the inbox. It is a service we are providing to make news delivery convenient.
