THE York Business Association and York Garden Club bring you two days of activities to inspire. Presentations at the Environmental Centre, Glebe Street on Saturday 14th October feature local bee aficionado Damian from Bee Central, find out why these amazing critters are so important to our survival.

Be captivated by John Viska from the Australian Garden History Society and then learn all about Bush Tucker from Mark and how to set up an edible forest. This talk is accompanied by a delicious afternoon tea with tickets at $15.00 from Humanitix ‘design a bushfood micro forest in your backyard’.

Learn how to make compost and a worm farm.

Visit the beautiful RSL Memorial Rose Garden and check out the memorabilia and plant stall.

Visit the Residency Museum ‘Potting Station’ so the next generation of gardeners start right and then enjoy a special Twilight Open Garden with music and refreshments for just $15.00 at 71, Grey St.

Sunday is Open Garden Day plus a demonstration ‘Making Wicking Beds’ and another children’s garden event at our stunning Bushland garden.

The Airing of the Quilts at the Sandalwood Yards is on both days plus much more.
