Walliston Primary vies for milk carton regatta glory

Students from Walliston Primary set their sights on a $5000 prize at the Masters Milk Carton Regatta
November 2, 2023

A KEEN group of Walliston Primary School parents have joined forces to enter the Masters Milk Carton Regatta on Saturday, November 18, aiming to take home the best design prize money of $5000 for the school.

Teams need to build their vessels made entirely of Masters milk cartons, and then race for the chance to win prize money and the ultimate bragging rights as the newest regatta champion.

Whilst the Walliston theme is under wraps, it plays homage to one of our great Australian icons and to reach their goal, and have enough milk cartons, the crew have been working tirelessly, drinking countless litres of Masters milk, and with many design and build days.

The Walliston Deli and Elevated Grounds Coffeehouse have gotten behind the team, enabling collection points and community members donating used cartons.

The crew is looking for community support with voting only at the event, so grab your family and friends and enjoy viewing the competition and all the excitement as teams race their milk carton watercraft across the harbour.

Kids can also enjoy carnival rides, win great stuff with the Mix94.5 road runners and taste test Masters milk flavours and meet the famous Masters Cows.
