INTERNATIONAL Jazz artist Serge Le Goueff is coming to Kalamunda for a family show not to be missed on Sunday, March 10 at the Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre from 4pm.
French born, his passion for music has seen Serge travel and perform extensively throughout the world before he decided to put down his suitcases in Dunsborough.
Serge has performed with the likes of James Morisson, Dave Weckl, Mickey Tucker, The Glen Miller Orchestra, Gene Pitney, and countless more over a career spanning nearly four decades.
The show ‘Sax Life’ has been performed in Europe and Australia to enthused audiences in festivals and theatres.
The idea behind the show is simple – to share the story of the most unlikely instrument to ever grace the world’s stages.
The saxophone is said to be the most popular woodwind instrument in the world.
This did not happen overnight and most certainly not without its fair share of tribulations, failures and triumphs.
Serge will bring to life a story that was born in the mid-19th century and continue to evolve throughout the musical fabric of our lives.
The show will showcase six different saxophones, and with music from Bach to Glen Miller, Charlie Parker to Dire Straits, and Kenny G to Bruce Sringsteen, this show has it all.
Fasten your seat belts and enjoy the ride Serge and his show ‘Sax Life’ is taking you along.
Tickets have now been released and are available from $22 here.
