RECIPIENTS have been announced for the Cedar Woods 2024 community grants program for the Bushmead estate and Ariella private estate in Brabham.
Cedar Woods state manager Ben Rosser said it was wonderful to see the community groups continue to develop and Cedar Woods was proud to support them with their community initiatives.
“Fostering a real sense of community spirit is important to us and we hope to see these groups continue to add value to the community even after we leave.”
Brabham Racers Cricket Club’s Binda President said they were delighted to have Ariella private estate come on board as a major supporter for the recent cricket season.
“Investment in community sport clubs can be hard to come by so we are very grateful for the generous contribution and thank Cedar Woods for their support.”
Bushmead Conservation Cobbers’ Fiona Audcent-Ross said the community grant was welcomed by the community group which is dedicated to preserving the beautiful natural areas of Bushmead.
“The beauty and tranquillity of the surrounding bushland was a major factor in why we chose to live in Bushmead and therefore we are dedicated to caring for it, ensuring it can be enjoyed by us all, now and into the future.”
Recipients of the 2024 community grants include:
Ariella private estate Brabham Racers Cricket Club ($5000), Brabham Multicultural Club major sponsor ($5000), Bushmead Conservation Cobbers ($4000) and Friends of Archerfield Park for preservation, maintenance and celebration of the natural surroundings of Bushmead ($500), Bushmead Social Group for movie nights and food truck evenings ($3400).
The program was established to support the communities that grow with Cedar Woods developments, benefitting both existing and new residents and fostering vibrant and sustainable neighbourhoods.
