Swan Valley licence plates up for grabs

The Swan Valley Tourism Alliance has released a range of limited number plates as part of a project promoting Swan Valley tourism and preserving its grape growing and winemaking heritage.

The Swan Valley Tourism Alliance Inc is undertaking the production and sale of a new range of number plates to help promote the Swan Valley, the state’s oldest wine region.

By purchasing a Swan Valley licence plate, buyers will be helping the not-for-profit Swan Valley Tourism Alliance (SVTA) put the Swan Valley’s people and places first.

This is one of the SVTA’s projects based around promoting tourism while preserving the region’s rural heritage and traditional activities, such as grape growing and winemaking.

The limited-edition plates will be available in the sequences SWVA 1-9 and SWVA 00 to 99.

Number plate SWVA 0 will be raffled at the Swan Valley Tourism Alliance AGM at Sandalford Wines on Thursday, September 5.

Plates SWVA 1-9 will be sold via an online silent auction starting on September 5 and concluding on the night of the AGM. The reserve price for these plates will be $400 plus transfer costs of $101.10.

SWVA 00 to 99 will be sold via fixed pricing from $400 per plate plus transfer costs on a first-come, first-served basis on the SVTA website from 12pm WST on Friday, September 6.

Once these plates are sold out, they are sold out.No more will be manufactured.
