AUSTRALIAN rock legends British India are set to ignite Perth with their electrifying live performance at The Stirling Arms Hotel in Guildford on Friday, November 29.

British India launched their career in Melbourne’s indie rock scene, quickly making waves with their debut album, Guillotine.

Featuring hits like Tie Up My Hands and Black & White Radio, the album sold 20,000 copies independently and earned them the AIR Award for best new group in 2007.

They continued their rise with the follow-up album, Thieves, which debuted at No 5 on the national charts and featured I Said I’m Sorry, one of their eight entries in Triple J’s Hottest 100.

Thieves also brought in three ARIA nominations, solidifying British India’s reputation as one of Australia’s most dynamic rock acts.

The band’s third album, Avalanche, further elevated their profile with the hit single Vanilla, a track that showcased their ability to fuse raw rock energy with infectious hooks. This success was followed by Controller, which included the Platinum-certified I Can Make You Love Me – a powerful, emotional anthem that struck a deep chord with fans across the country.

In 2015, British India released Nothing Touches Me, featuring the standout track Suddenly, which went on to achieve ARIA Gold status. Their knack for crafting memorable, high-impact songs has won them a devoted fanbase and critical acclaim, making them a must-see live act.
