THE state government has released 12 new residential lots at DevelopmentWA’s Highland Range estate in Jane Brook.
Located at the base of the Darling Scarp and below John Forrest National Park, Highland Range is just a 35-minute drive from Perth’s central business district.
The stage 3A lots are close to a large, landscaped park featuring a playground with seating, shelters, half-court basketball and netball area and scooter and bike circuits.
The new Midland Metronet train station will be just an 8km drive away, with schools, shops and all the food and wine offerings of the Swan Valley nearby.
The new lots range from 450sqm to 600sqm and include an $8000 fencing and landscaping rebate.
Lands and Housing Minister John Carey said the Cook Labor Government was doing everything they could to boost housing supply across Western Australia.
“The release of 12 new lots will provide more housing diversity and choice to families in the Perth Hills seeking a homesite in a connected, picturesque community, well located to local community amenities,” he said.
Midland MLA Michelle Roberts said housing remained a critical priority for the state government, especially in providing more housing diversity and choice.
“This new land release will provide 12 lots right here in Jane Brook,” she said. “I’m pleased to be a part of the Cook Government as we continue to respond to the housing needs in Midland.”
Titles are anticipated by March 2025.
