SWAN Districts delivered a dominant WAFLW at Bassendean Oval on Saturday with Taylah Edwards and Summer Yarran combining for 10 goals in the 101-point win against East Perth.

Swans came into the match up with the Royals attempting to bounce back from a tight loss to Claremont the previous week and they delivered a dominant performance on Saturday right from the outset.

By the end of the afternoon Swan Districts ended up beating East Perth 15.12 (102) to 0.1 (1) for the triple-figure victory which sees them improve to an 8-4 record on the season to sit in third position by the end of round 14.

Taylah Edwards and Summer Yarran both had huge afternoons in the forward-line for Swan Districts with the former kicking six goals from 11 kicks with six tackles and five marks while the latter had four goals from 10 kicks and four marks.

Jaime Henry is thriving in the midfield to pick up the slack in the absence of Carys D’Addario with another 36 possessions and five tackles.

Summer Ajduk also collected 20 disposals for the black-and-whites, Tamzyn Beros 18, Kayley King 17, Naomi Baker 17, Indiana West 17, Meg Carron 16 and Luka Davis 16.

Lauren Quaife finished with another 18 possessions and 20 hit outs in the ruck for Swan Districts.

It took just over four minutes for Swan Districts to kick the first goal of the game thanks to Summer Yarran before Taylah Edwards added another shortly after.

Yarran also kicked a second of the first quarter to see Swans lead already by 21 points at quarter-time before it then took just 30 seconds of the second term when Edwards kicked her second goal.

Tyla Fitzgerald then added another before co-captain Eliza Gelmi even got forward and added another.

Yarran then kicked her third goal of the half before Edwards kicked her third and fourth with Swans going into half-time leading by 58 points having kept East Perth scoreless.

It was another two goals in the third quarter from Swans to Kayley King and Meg Carron and then Edwards was able to add a couple more in the last quarter with Yarran adding her fourth as well with Swan Districts going on to score the 101-point victory.
