Call to fix Kalamunda pool
Dear Echo News,
I write regarding the article High Wycombe Community Hub receives nearly $40 million in funding .
I note that the City of Kalamunda has committed $10 million to the project.
Is there any possibility of a similar amount being given so that the Kalamunda pool, such a valuable asset to the local community, can be given the refurbishment that it so badly needs?
Leaks in the pool repaired, hot water in the showers and other things that locals have been crying out for and campaigning for, for several years.
There has been talk of getting rid of the pool, and for everyone to use the facility in High Wycombe.
Not so easy for kids, who can walk or cycle to our pool, but would have to catch buses or get lifts to High Wycombe.
The City of Kalamunda would get huge accolades from the locals if they do something to preserve the pool.

Thanks for honesty
Dear Echo News,
I would like to thank the honest person that returned my wallet with savings and credit cards inside at the café in Bunnings Midland.
I am most grateful.
I will leave money to pay for a sausage sizzle and drink with staff.
Thank you again.
