SPECIALIST officers from the WA Police Force arson squad are seeking the public’s assistance for information as they continue to investigate a suspicious fire that occurred in Midvale on Thursday, May 15.
The fire started about 12.45am in bushland along the western bicycle path of Roe Highway.
The fire spread quickly due to strong easterly winds, spreading through further bushland to a traffic management company located on Beaconsfield Avenue.
The fire caused an estimated $1 million damage to machinery and equipment at this local business. Arson Squad officers have released some dash-cam vision of where the fire started in an effort to seek further information from the public.
Officers are still asking for any dash-cam or mobile phone vision taken in the vicinity of the fire between 12.30am and 1.30am on Thursday, May 15.
