ON Sunday, March 30 Bassendean Bowling Club will be celebrating its 90th anniversary and they are inviting the local community and all members, past and present, to join in with the festivities.

There’s no entry fee to the event but food and drinks are available for purchase at the venue.

The event kicks off at 3pm with presentations from the club, and from 4pm there will be a variety of food trucks, ice-cream from a Mr Whippy van, children’s entertainment, face painting and a live performance from Chris Murphy.

Those interested in attending are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket to sit around the greens and enjoy the celebration.
