SEX assault squad detectives have charged a 28-year-old Darlington man with 11 child sexual related offences that occurred between 2021 and 2022.
During the time of the alleged offences, the man was employed as a relief teacher and sports coach at various schools throughout regional and metropolitan WA.
Darlington man Harry Sing Wan Lagdon was charged with 10 counts of sexually penetrated a child over 16 under their authority and one count of indecently deals with a child over 16 under their authority.
He was charged on Saturday, June 22 and appeared before the Perth Magistrates Court the next day where he was bailed to appear in court on August 2.
Further investigations by sex assault squad detectives, led to them charging the man on Monday, June 24, with a further six offences: Three counts of procure a person under 13 years for sexual activity, one count of possessing child exploitation material and two counts of expose person under 13 years to indecent material.
He appeared in Midland Magistrates Court on these offences on Tuesday, June 25 and has been remanded in custody until August 2.
