THE Mahogany Creek Hall hosted it’s first bingo night last week, with more than 60 attendees playing bingo to win cash prizes and support the Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre.

Hosted by the Mahogany Creek Progress Association, the bingo event was created for a fun, social night out for the community and to support local community groups.

The environment group rescues and rehabilitates three species of black cockatoos native to the South West of Western Australia.

The centre also hosts group visits and have education programs on their work.

The next bingo event at the Mahogany Creek Hall will be on October 21, with doors open 5.30pm and eyes down at 7pm.

BYO nibbles and refreshments, tea and coffee available.
