AUSTRALIAN-Irish singer-songwriter Bridie Fitzgerald will be performing at the Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre (KPAC) for a single evening on Saturday, October 18 commencing at 7.00pm.

The setlist will include material from Fitzgerald’s fourth original album, I am Changing, in addition to selections from her discography which focuses on her Irish roots and heritage exploration.

Her professional profile includes momentum gained after her 2014 debut album, All of me, and subsequent engagement as a supporting act on the Josh Pyke Beginning and the end of everything tour.

Fitzgerald’s supporting ensemble for the Kalamunda date includes Martin Montgomery on Irish drums and Sarah Jacks on the Harp.

The show is slated to feature a collection of songs combining traditional Irish songs, unique arrangements of modern songs, and original compositions, with an emphasis on showcasing the Gaelic language.

The performance material includes Celtic-arranged versions of tracks originally performed by artists such as David Bowie, Britney Spears, and The Beatles.

Fitzgerald previously performed the same Irish melodies at the Fringe World festivals in 2022 and 2023.
