MIDLAND is set to transform into a vibrant outdoor big top as the community gathers for an evening of world-class circus entertainment and family-friendly fun.

On Friday, February 6 the Locale event space at 37 The Crescent, Midland will host a major showcase headlined by the Kinetica Circus Youth Performance Troupe.

The event, which will run from 5.30pm to 8pm will see the troupe anchor the afternoon with a showcase of aerial feats and ground-based acrobatics in an afternoon of outside circus entertainment.

Kinetica’s troupe consists of performers aged 7 to 17 that train in displays of aerial silks, hoops, trapezes, and aerial hammocks, alongside grounded feats of basic tumbling, juggling, and hula hooping.

Before the acrobats begin their performance, the City of Swan libraries will set the tone with an early story time session, and interactive children’s activities organised by the Midland Junction Arts Centre.

The energy won’t dip for a moment, as the performers will also take on the roles of roving entertainers and MCs of the evening, keeping laughter flowing well into the evening.

The event is free to the public and residents are encouraged to arrive early, secure a prime viewing spot, and soak up the afternoon atmosphere of what promises to be a community highlight on the local calendar.
