A DIVERSE collection of contemporary Australian art will take centre stage in the Perth Hills this month with the launch of the Midwinter group exhibition at Juniper Galleries.
The showcase will feature a wide array of mediums, including paintings, sculptures, ceramics, and glassware, from a curated lineup of local creators.
Exhibiting artists have explored a variety of seasonal themes for the collection, ranging from stormy weather to indoor comforts.
The gallery will host a public preview of the exhibition on Saturday, June 20 from 10am to 5pm.
The official opening of the exhibition is scheduled for the winter solstice on Sunday, June 21, commencing at 1pm.
Perth jazz singer and performer Ali Bodycoat alongside local artist Ben Bulla will formally open the exhibition with live music.
Guests attending the opening event will be able to view the artworks while enjoying mulled wine by an outdoor firepit.
The exhibition is scheduled to run until the end of July, with public viewing hours from 10am to 5pm on weekends, and weekday visits available by appointment.
Guests can visit Juniper Galleries at 41a Dalry Road, Darlington.
