MUNDARING is set to take centre stage in the Australian disc golf calendar this week, with the Prodigy Australian Disc Golf Championships 2025 (ADGC25) taking place at Mundaring Sporting Club from Thursday, November 20 until Sunday, November 23.
The nation’s premier disc golf event will bring players, supporters, and families to the Perth Hills for a week of elite competition, community activity, and local celebration.
This year’s championships are jointly delivered by Sunset Coast Disc Golf Club, Perth Disc Golf Club, and Mundaring Sporting Club Disc Golf (MSCDG) – three clubs working together to showcase the very best of the sport in WA.
Their collaboration builds on years of steady growth for disc golf in the region and reflects a shared commitment to providing world-class events for players of all levels.
The Shire of Mundaring has come on board as a key sponsor, recognising both the community value and the growing tourism draw of major disc golf events.
“Their support helps strengthen Mundaring’s reputation as a regional sporting destination and ensures the championships remain accessible and inviting to the wider hills community,” a spokesperson said.
A number of local businesses have also thrown their support behind the championships, including Eagle Eye Coatings, Stones Promotions, and Ragtop Design.
Local favourite food and beverage service providers are also getting behind the event with Café Mojo, Artisan Bakery, Redtails Coffee Shack, A Patch of Country, Hills Fresh and Mahogany Inn backing the event.
Mundaring has already proven it can deliver on the world stage and last year MSCDG proudly hosted the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) World Team Disc Golf Championships, welcoming nearly 300 international competitors, staff, and officials to the region.
The event brought global attention to the hills and cemented Mundaring as a premier destination for disc-golf events of all sizes.
The upcoming ADGC25 builds on that momentum, with upgrades to the Mundaring Sporting Club course and new layouts designed specifically for the championships, and players can expect a challenging, scenic, and thoroughly Western Australian disc-golf experience.
While the championships will feature Australia’s top athletes vying for national titles, the event is equally a celebration of community spirit.
Spectators are encouraged to come along, walk the course, enjoy the atmosphere, and support the players. Local food and coffee will be sold on-site, and the club’s volunteers – many of whom helped deliver last year’s world event – will be ready to showcase Mundaring’s warm hospitality.
