PERTH Hills voters may have to travel down the hill if they want to cast their votes early as no early voting booths have been made available in the area.

The WA electoral commission has confirmed that this year no early voting booths were made available in the hills area and the closest early voting option was in Guildford.

In Guildford 48A James Street will open from 8am to 6pm on February 24 for early voters and remain open over the long weekend.

They said postal votes were also still open for applications if residents preferred to make their decisions via the mail.

Meanwhile, in the Wheatbelt two early voting booths would be available in Merredin and Northam.
