THE beloved tradition of music, wine, and generosity returns to the Bickley Valley on Sunday, April 13, when the stunning MyattsField Vineyards once again host the Rhythm & Views fundraising concert for Neuromuscular WA.
The organisation takes a holistic approach to improving the quality of life of those living with neuromuscular conditions through social programs, advocacy, funding for research, counselling, equipment, grants, system navigation and NDIS support.
Josh and Rachael Davenport, owners and winemakers at MyattsField Vineyards, have been unwavering supporters of the charity for an incredible 19 years, which supports Western Australians living with neuromuscular conditions.
Their generosity extends beyond them donating their award-winning wines, as they proudly host this much-anticipated event each year.
In addition, they donate a row of Mourvèdre grapes (‘Row 38’) for a live auction, which has raised an incredible $163,300 to date.
“Neuromuscular WA makes a vital difference to their community, and as they receive no ongoing government funding,
we want to do what we can to support them,” MyattsField Vineyards owner and chair of the charity Josh Davenport said.
“Rhythm & Views not only helps this important organisation but also showcases the best of the Bickley Valley wine region. Often event-goers have never been to our neck of the woods, so it’s always great to open their eyes to all this region has to offer.”
This year’s event will feature Matt and Jax, delivering a high-energy performance of covers with nostalgic hits from Queen, ABBA, Miley Cyrus, INXS, and more.
Guests can enjoy the Sunday afternoon with a bottle of MyattsField’s award-winning wine and Gage Roads beers, knowing that every sip supports this vital cause.
Food options include a pre-ordered graze box for $25 or a classic sausage sizzle available on the day.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own picnic rug and chairs and relax in the vineyard’s beautiful surroundings.
