Santa getting ready for Mount Helena Christmas run

Parents and carers who want their children to participate and receive a present from Santa, need to deliver their presents to Mount Helena Vibe during their business hours.
November 28, 2024

AS they have done for some years Mount Helena Voluntary Bushfire Brigade will again escort Santa and his mischievous elves around town on Christmas Day, delivering presents to children in the Mount Helena fire district.

Santa and his merry team will start their journey from the Mount Helena fire station in Chidlow Street about 7.30am and we endeavour to have visited participating homes by about noon.

Parents and carers who want their child/ren to participate and receive a present from Santa, need to deliver their present/s to Mount Helena Vibe during their business hours, from Saturday, December 7 until Sunday, December 22 inclusive.

As the fire trucks have limited space for storage presents must be of a size that can be easily handled by Santa and team.

Presents need to be wrapped and clearly labelled with each child’s name and address.

Where possible show a street number rather than a lot number.

The organisers ask that children keep a look out and be waiting at the front gate or start of the driveway for Santa and his crew, as they won’t be able to go up driveways.

They have a long way to travel and a lot of people to see and can’t wait too long if children are not at the gate or start of the property driveways.
