THE half-built apartments on Scaddan Street in Bassendean are in limbo as the matter awaits another State Administrative Tribunal hearing.

The next hearing is scheduled for March 8, with the Town of Bassendean seeking to demolish the apartments on Scaddan Street in Bassendean, while 28 Bassendean Pty Ltd director Ricky Hirsch has appealed the order.

In Property Investor Collapses Mr Hirsch’s Fulfil the Dream (FTD) Construction entered liquidation, while in Unfinished Bassendean apartments to go the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety’s Building and Energy division stripped the builder’s registration in months prior.

The Town of Bassendean questioned the compliance of the steel framework for the site, and no work has been completed on the site for more than a year.

If the appeal fails, it is expected a timeframe of 90 days will be given for the apartments to be demolished.
