FOR the month of March, Swan-based artist Jessie Radloff will have her exhibition Jessie and Her Dogs up at the Midland Library.

The exhibition features a range of paintings, drawings, lino prints and a selection of Jessie’s greeting cards - all about dogs.

“I got into art because it was a good way to show people how important dogs are,” Ms Radloff said.

“They are good companions and give and receive lots of love.”

She said her favourite thing about being an artist was being able to share her love for dogs with other people.

Ms Radloff has won awards for her designs, including the Soroptimist International art award in 2023 and As We Are high commendation award in 2022.

Ms Radloff is an emerging artist from Guildford with lived experience with disability and she is also a business owner.

She sells t-shirts, tote bags, tea towels and greeting cards featuring her original designs of dogs.

Some of her stockists include Fremantle Arts Centre, DADAA Midland and Building Friendships in Kalamunda.

Ms Radloff said she hopes to continue to show people how special dogs are and to create more merchandise to sell.
