TASTE of Chittering returns for another year at Woolah Rise in Bindoon on Sunday, August 30.
The festival is in its 14th year and is set to celebrate local flavours, community spirit and country hospitality.
Last year’s event attracted 6500 attendees, with organisers expecting another strong turnout this year.
Attendees can expect to experience a wide range of stalls featuring local produce, handmade goods, artisan products, food and beverage offerings, as well as live entertainment, cooking demonstrations, tastings and hands-on workshops.
A Taste Passport will also be available on the day.
Visitors are encouraged to collect the event program when they arrive and follow the passport to explore participating stalls throughout the event, where they can collect stamps along the way.
Once the passport is completed, participants can then enter a draw to win prizes.
Taste of Chittering recommends that visitors bring cash as mobile reception can be unreliable in the area and EFTPOS facilities may not always be available.
The festival will take place from 10am to 3pm and tickets are $5 for adults and free for children under 18.
Tickets can be bought on the door with cash only or online.
