Young Netballers boosted by grant

Binar Netball Club has welcomed 40 eager new netballers thanks to a grant enabling the club to pay for players who cannot afford registration.

The club were recipients of the Woolworths pick fresh play fresh netball grants and used the funding for new equipment, court hire, medical equipment and most importantly to ensure keen players would not miss out.

Woolworths NetSetGO ambassador and former Australian Diamonds player Catherine Cox and West Coast Fever Netball players Rudi Ellis, Kim Jenner and Alice Teague-Neeld visited the club recently to meet and greet the club’s newest NetSetGo players and see the impact of the grant in action.

Netball grants are back again for 2023 to promote living healthy and active lifestyles for children.
The program is designed to help Woolworths NetSetGO centres across Australia with funds to run programs, improve facilities and equipment and encourage healthier living.
