EASTERN Blades Hockey Club player Craig Trott played his 900th game for the club on May 18.
“It was great to see so many people come along to show their support,’’ he said.
“It was very much appreciated.
“We celebrated the day with a 3-0 (win) over Melville.”
Trott started playing hockey at St Mark’s College when he was 13-years-old.
“I then joined what was then Bayswater Morley Mens Hockey Club and played in the U17 located at Hillcrest Reserve on Coode Street, Bayswater.
“We moved to Altone Park on Benara Road, Beechboro in 1995 and our name changed to Eastern Blades Hockey Club.
“I’ve also had the privilege to play for Western Australia in the masters competition in various states of Australia.’’
This year Eastern Blades are moving to new premises at 300 Arthur Steet, Dayton.
“The facilities include two astro turfs, two grass fields and amazing clubrooms.
“We welcome anyone who would be interested in playing for our club to contact us at easternblades.org.au
“We have mens, womens and two veterans sides as well as juniors.’’
