THE Ellenbrook Easterns Teeball and Softball Association women’s division 5 side is playing the Jaguars in the grand final on Saturday at Mirrabooka Stadium.

Ellenbrook Easterns Teeball and Softball Association president Gary Weppner said two of the women’s teams had made it into the finals this season with the division 5 women going on to secure the minor premiership.

Out of the 16 games they played this season in the Perth Softball League the Ellenbrook Easterns division 5 women won 14 of them.

The Jaguars won 13 games.

Weppner said the women’s division 5 team played the Jaguars twice during the home and away season.

He said they lost the first game 27-4 due to their pitcher being away.

But won the next game 14-5 with their pitcher back.

The side won the semi-final 9-8 which put them straight through to the grand final.
