ASHLEE King and Naomi Dattani dominated with the ball for Midland Guildford in a Sunday T20 double-header against South Perth and Subiaco Floreat at Kingsway Sporting Complex.
King finished with 3-15 off four overs and Dattani posted 3-16 off 2.3 overs in the first match against South Perth, who finished with a total of just 88 all out, leading to a straightforward chase which resulted in a seven-wicket victory with 9.2 overs to spare.
Against Subiaco Floreat it was another well-rounded bowling effort that restricted their opponents to 6-122 from their 20 overs.
Ines McKeon led the chase with an unbeaten score of 49 runs from 42 balls, as the side chased the target with 3.3 overs remaining.
The female B grade played Rockingham Mandurah at home in their T20 fixture over the weekend with Brooke Catania (56 not out off 56) and Lauren Moore (37 off 42) combining for an opening partnership of 93 runs, as they posted a score of 2-145 from 20 overs.
In the second innings, they restricted their opponents to 7-83 for a resounding 62 run win.
The female U17 did not enjoy the same success in their double-header, losing by eight wickets against Subiaco Floreat and six wickets against Wanneroo.
Meanwhile, senior male sides began their two-day match against Willetton this weekend with all four grades losing the toss and having their opponents elect to bat first.
The 1st and 3rd grade sides will be playing at home this weekend, while the 2nd and 4th grades will travel to Burrendah Park to finish the second day.
This weekend also includes the return of fixtures for both the male U14 and male U13 against Centurions, as well as the female U14 against Perth.
The senior male Premier T20 side will also have their Grand Final at the WACA Ground against Willetton on Sunday December 3.
