THE Hills Football Association kicks off their 79th home and away season at 6.30pm on Saturday, April 13 with Chidlow taking on Gidgegannup.
In the other round one games Bullsbrook plays Mt Helena and Swan View takes on Mundaring while Pickering Brook has a bye.
The HFA is the only senior AFL competition in the hills area covering from Chidlow in the east, Pickering Brook in the south and Bullsbrook to the west.
Players looking to join a club can make contact via the HFA Facebook page.
Volunteers are also an integral part of any sporting or social group.
